4525 Oak Street Kansas City, Missouri 5:45 P.M. Meet in lobby of new Bloch Building for free tour. 6:00 P.M. Tour (with guide ) the new Bloch building 7:15 P. M. Tour ends in Kirkwood Hall (lobby original building) 7:15 / 8:00 Refreshments-Cocktails- Kirkwood Hall or Rozzelle Court Self serve Dinner cost ala carte (if you choose) Rozzelle Court Restaurant buffet line closes at 8.00 but we have tables reserved until 9:00 the museum closes 9:00

There have been lots of changes in the area around the station that you might like to visit. The Old Post Office is now the new offices of the Internal Revenue Service and it's 5,000 employees. The World War 1 museum in the Liberty Memorial. The new Federal Reserve building under construction (site of old St. Mary's Hospital). There is a skywalk from Union Station taking you across the railroad tracks to the Crossroads District containing many new restaurants and art galleries. In the area is the new glass home of the Kansas City Star where you can observe the production line of the local newspaper. Opening in October is the Sprint Center. The featured artist will be Elton John. Hopes of an NBA basketball franchise or professional hockey franchise to be housed in the Center. The H & R Bloch world headquarters at 13th & Main is the anchor tenant of the Power and Light Entertainment District opening in the spring of 2008. THE END.
